WARNING DARK KNIGHT SPOILER!

Firstly I wanted to say thank you to everyone who commended my first blog and to say sorry to those who I have disappointed in not writing a second blog for quite a while now. Usually it's the same old "nothing much" and "same old same old" answer on everyones minds in reply to the frequent "hows it going", "sup" or more commonly and philosophically these days "hows life" question, but with the university resuming for a second semester now, I thought I might ignore university talk and just talk about recent things in the news including Sonny Bill who has been on the front page for a week or so now and the recent premiere of The Dark Knight in cinemas.

For a few days now, it's been Sonny Bill this and Sonny Bill that when really I don't think any one gives a damn. I mean the NRL are complete retards and I mean it's rather apparent that they're simply angry that they were on the back end of William's decision to move to France. Though understandably so. He's moving to a completely different sport in anothe part of the world and there's nothing really that they can do about it. What I like most is that - I THINK - Sonny Bill is going to take them to court if they take him to court, in regards to the Salary Cap. Is a Salary Cap even allowed? It restricts a player's earnings which seems alot like discrimination to me. While of course a little sports scandal off the field is good, I don't think it deserves the high praise front page which the media is giving it. But of course as Aunt Sally says, if the people want to read it, then they're going to get it.

I want to see Sonny Bill take the NRL to court and really see what happens then - it will be more interesting than the pathetic quality of matches and umpiring on field and will provoke alot of thought from NRL lovers and haters.
He gives the 'Joker' a whole new meaning - but even at times, the 'Joker' would be laughing at the Dark Knight.

Another thing since its July 17th debut has been this magnificent portrayal as the Joker in the Dark Knight and in all fairness, he is pretty damn good. But in contrast the whole movie has so many logical flaws and for it to be considered THE best movie in the history of cinematography is beyond ridiculous. I mean of course the special effects are great, superb even but in this day and age, for a movie filmed in 2007 - isn't that what you'd expect and of course with over $150 million going into the production, I expect nothing less.

The plot is climactic / climatic (I'm still not sure which one it is) that it could end at any different point through out the whole 2.5 hours of chaos. I'm going to now tell the ending to you but you have been warned earlier. Finally when the final confrontation occurs between Dent and Batman, AS EXPECTED, Batman prevails but then decides to blame the deaths committed by Dent on himself. So yeah, we're on the edge of our seats, something different has occurred for a change in a generic superhero movie, but BAM 5 seconds later after some pathetic words by Gordon, the movie ends. Yes, the ending was original and different but it's execution was deplorable. I think that Bruce Wayne should have spoken at Dent's funeral and upon the utterance of the words. "Batman is a criminal, he must be stopped." He morally kills himself as he is Batman.

It's just a personal opinion of mine, yes I didn't mind the movie and I did think it was well made but logical flaws and psychologically intense narrative for 2.5 hours are too extreme for a movie which is supposed to be considered the best of all time (IMDB).

I know many of you will disagree with my opinion but hey - it's my blog.
